Johrei Art of Living 2011

We have this year's annual Johrei Art of Living event coming up on Saturday 5th November 2011, 10:30am to 3pm.

This years event will be held at Engineers House near the suspension bridge in Clifton Village, Bristol.

Dr Michael Dixon, Koichi Sakakibara and Dr.Rosy Daniel will be sharing their experiences of Johrei.

We will also be running workshops so you can experience for yourself Japanese cultural activities such as Ikebana (the Japanese art of flower arrangement), calligraphy and tea ceremony.

Introducing Johrei in Glastonbury

We will be holding an introductory talk about Johrei in Glastonbury on Sunday 30th October 2011 at 2:30pm.

This will take place at Avalon Room, 2-4 Hight Street, Glastonbury from 2pm.

You will be able to learn about Johrei and also have the opportunity to receive Johrei healing.

Admission is free (donations appreciated) and no advance booking is necessary.

Ikebana Flower Arrangement Workshops

From this September we will be starting regular Ikebana Flower Arrangement workshops at the Bristol Johrei Centre.

In September we will have workshops on:

* 7th September at 2pm

* 24th September at 11am

You get to take home the vase and flowers, so to cover the costs, we are charging £10 per workshop.

Bristol Johrei Summer Holiday

The Johrei Drop-in at the Bristol Johrei centre is it's annual two week summer holiday in August.

We'll be open as usual on Thursday 11th August and then be closed for two weeks.  We will re-open on Tuesday 30th August 2011.

Johrei Drop-in Winter Break

The Johrei Drop-in at the Bristol Johrei centre is having a break for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.

We'll be open as usual on Thursday 16th December and then be closed over Christmas and New Year.  We will re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011.
