Johrei Centre:
* Due to the previous damp in the Johrei room, we will try putting Meishu sama's photograph to the right of the calligraphy. This would require removal of the curtains, but if we add draft excluder to the garden door, the room shouldn't get overly cold

Garden

*The trip to the garden centre in Aug was successful, we now got plants on the rack and one Acer tree in one pot.
*Paul’s dad’s plant didn’t survived in our shady garden.
*The rack looks fine, we might need one or two more plants to fill big pots

Art of Living Event

*Sunday the 6th Nov event not on now but Rosy will come to the Bristol event on Sat 5th Nov afternoon.

Plants for the Garden:
* A rack for standing plants on is in the garden
* One plant is available from Paul's father's garden
* Tomoko suggested having another green plant that can be used for flower arrangement
* A small camellia tree would be good, as would a maple in a pot
* Although donations of plants is appreciated, some planning of what plants we include would be better

Minutes from Bristol Johrei Committee Meeting
Tuesday the 28th June 2011, 9:30pm

This was more of an informal discussion between MF & GL

Re. Folk house event. GL asked if we knew if the CD player worked on batteries. MF has a CD player if not.
GL asked if we had a display board organised. Not yet.
GL asked if plant watering in the garden had been organised. RM will do this while MF is away.

Status Updates

Bath drop-in – no Bath drop-in sessions for the last two weeks. Rosy’s regenerative programme itself is not quite ready, not well advertised yet. MF plans to re-establish Fridays from this week.

Garden updates
MF – looked at pebble prices in B&Q, reasonable prices. Noticed the garden wall dirty – possibility of erecting bamboo cover?
